Two new special lines for the production of low friction bearings and precision of several micrometers for luxury sports cars were put into operation at the Koyo Bearings plant on the outskirts of Olomouc. Koyo invested 40 million crowns.
As every year, this year is also in the sign of big investment going to the Olomouc Koyo Bearings plant. The investment goal is to build up competitive position in the automotive industry and to be ready for further growth according to projects nominated by the top customers.

Moravian town of Prostejov agreed with the German company Mubea in terms of building a new factory for the production of parts for the automotive industry. The city hall could find work at least for 500 people there. The draft contract must be approved by the council.
Koyo Bearings Ceska republika obtained the Olomouc Region Progressive Employer 2014 in the category up to 500 employees Award in the late May. Sodexo organizes the contest evaluated by PriceWaterhouse Coopers and sponsored by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
